Fixed column: 100% accelerator pedal. Gauge PSI relative to 100 kPa atmosphere; y-axis shown from 10–18 PSI. Lines connect the table rows for comparison, not a measured trace or engine-response prediction.
One synthetic target-table column: accelerator pedal 100%. Pressure is gauge PSI, referenced to 100 kPa atmosphere.

Two rows change by +1.0 PSI: 16.0 → 17.0 at 4,000 RPM and 15.5 → 16.5 at 5,000 RPM. The other rows stay unchanged.
A target change is not a boost prediction or a ready-to-flash tune. Confirm table meaning, units and selection; independently review and validate any calibration change.

This illustrates CaliBAR’s Add PSI workflow on one target-table column. The graph joins table rows for comparison; it is not a recorded trace. Review the source table and pressure reference before considering a change.
02 / AIRFLOW · FREQUENCYLOG EVIDENCE
Review filtered fuel trims.
Compare 150 synthetic frames from three short operating windows. Screen out unsuitable conditions before interpreting the mapped fuel-trim channel.

119 of 150 frames retained; 31 excluded. The 3,000–3,400 Hz band averages +4.6% trim, but contains only 45 frames. No airflow change is proposed.
Positive trim means fuel is being added in this example; it does not prove an AFM error. Frames are correlated and coverage is limited. A single trim value is not a correction formula.

Confirm the trim-channel definition and active calibration, check sensors, intake leaks and fuel-system context, then compare independent recordings.
This simplified band summary is not CaliBAR’s weighted AFM correction calculation. CaliBAR separately reviews baseline and validation evidence, with sample-support and correction controls.
Filters used here: coolant ≥80°C; Fuel Status 2 (closed loop in this synthetic log); pedal >5%; commanded gasoline AFR 14.4–15.0; |trim| ≤15%. Adjacent frames must be ≤250 ms apart, with pedal change ≤1 percentage point, MAP change ≤1 kPa and commanded AFR change ≤0.15. These are example choices, not universal tuning criteria.
Three 5-second windows, sampled every 100 ms; 2,180–2,820 RPM. MAP is absolute kPa; coolant is °C. “Trim” is the supplied percent channel, not a sum of STFT and LTFT. No airflow correction, interpolation or validation result is calculated here.
31 frames excluded by the stated conditions.
12 representative frames from the 150-frame synthetic dataset. Fuel Status 4 is outside closed loop here.

Explore the numbers; keep the distinction. A table preview changes requested values. A trim summary describes selected observations. Neither establishes safe settings, emissions compliance or a validated engine response.
01 / EXPLORE WITH CALIBAR
Explore your logs. Review table changes.
CaliBAR is for enthusiasts who want to understand more about their car’s recorded data. Explore a compatible recording, compare readings and identify what needs checking.
Honda roots. Every platform welcome. File, channel and table compatibility still need checking for your workflow.
Tell us which logger and file format you use. We’ll check the available channels, units and any table definitions with you before purchase or a session.

Show details: from logs to tables+
CaliBAR also works with supported calibration tables: grids of settings used by an engine computer. An offset adjusts a table value. Review compatible logs and compare table changes within your project.
Review the source measurements, units and table definitions before considering a change. Exploring a recording does not itself edit a calibration.
THE PERSON BEHIND CALIBAR
Meet Jon Dell, the creator of CaliBAR.
I’m a Honda enthusiast building tools to help automotive enthusiasts across platforms understand their logs.
CaliBAR grew from wanting a clearer way to explore recorded data and review table changes. The one-on-one education brings that same approach to your questions: learning the software, understanding the readings and discussing what still needs checking.
You’ll work directly with me. Tell me what you want to learn; we’ll agree a focus and work through it together.
Coaching covers educational fundamentals, CaliBAR use and log interpretation. It does not include a delivered tune, ECU flashing, vehicle-specific calibration prescriptions or guaranteed results. Coaching availability →

Keep your included version
Your perpetual license covers continued use of the latest version included in your update period. Future software-update renewal is optional.
What software updates include
Software updates and personal help are different. The update period covers software releases; it does not include ongoing one-on-one support. Compatibility, release details and support terms will be available before purchase.
Here’s how we’ll approach a session. Email Jon to ask about availability; bookings are not open yet.
01
Free written fit review
Describe what you want to learn and the material you have. Jon will review whether the coaching is a useful fit before you pay.
02
Confirm scope and price
Agree the learning goal, suitable materials, scope, price and preparation. Clarify or narrow the focus, or suggest a better fit, before booking or paying.
03
Book, license and prepare
When bookings open, confirm the arrangements and receive the included license. Install and open CaliBAR, with the agreed files and learning goal ready. Use a practice example if needed.
04
15-minute intro
The intro is included in the paid coaching bundle. Set the goal, check the starting point and agree the focus for learning together.
05
60-minute working session
Explore CaliBAR and the agreed learning goal together. Work through the readings, concepts, evidence, uncertainty and what to verify.
06
A short summary
Capture the findings, uncertainties and next steps from the agreed work. Any extra time is separately agreed and booked.
Show details: session preparation
Limited preparation covers the agreed learning goal and materials. Confirm what is needed during the free asynchronous fit review. The paid bundle covers the listed intro, working session and summary; it does not include unlimited messaging or open-ended investigation. Extra time is separately booked, with no surprise overtime.
Coaching is educational. Interpreting a recording does not establish a vehicle’s mechanical condition or certify safety, performance or emissions compliance. Read the safety guidance →
Email Jon with what you drive, what you want to understand, and whether you already have a log or CaliBAR project. New to the software? A practice recording is a good place to start.
We’ll discuss suitability, materials, preparation and price before any booking or payment. Start with a short introduction; wait until we agree a suitable way to share files.
Yes. Coaching can focus on CaliBAR fundamentals or a practice recording. Tell Jon what you want to understand; your own log is optional for that starting point.
Will my recording work with CaliBAR?+
Compatibility depends on the recording source, file type, channels, units and the question you want to investigate. A vehicle or tuning-platform name alone is not enough. Ask Jon to check your file and workflow before purchase or a log-based session.
What is free, and what is paid?+
The written fit review is free. We discuss your question, materials, scope and preparation before payment. The 15-minute intro and 60-minute working session are included in the US$199 bundle. The fit review is by email, rather than a free live call.
What are the prices?+
The perpetual CaliBAR software license is US$79 with 12 months of software updates. The US$199 bundle includes the license, 24 months of software updates, one 15-minute intro, one 60-minute working session, agreed preparation and a short summary. Purchases and bookings are not open yet.
What should I prepare before a session?+
We’ll agree the materials and preparation first. Plan to open CaliBAR with your question and agreed files ready, or use a practice recording. Mention installation or other support needs when you contact Jon.
What happens after the update period?+
Keep using the latest version covered by your perpetual license. Renewal for future software updates is optional. The update period does not include a matching period of coaching or personal support.
What if we need more time?+
Any extra time is agreed and booked separately. The bundle covers the stated intro, working session, focused preparation and short summary; it does not include unlimited messaging.
Does coaching include a tune or flashing?+
No. Coaching covers CaliBAR use, log interpretation, evidence and what to verify next. It does not include a delivered tune, ECU flashing or vehicle-specific calibration prescriptions. Table previews do not predict engine response.
Can I buy or book now?+
Not yet. Email hello@calibarperformance.com to ask about availability. We’ll confirm compatibility, scope, price and the applicable terms before accepting payment.
